If your a fan of The Arctic Monkeys and The Black Keys, then the three piece psychedelic indie rock band Edgar Duke would be right up your street. If their latest single I Wanna Be With You doesn't get you at least bobbing then I wanna hear about it.
The lyrics of the song focus on trying to get the attention of a girl and being willing to give up everything to be near her. They are sung with a lot of passion and soul. The constant beat would keep you walking like a badass, with a simple bass line over them for the majority of the song, it builds up with guitar to the simple, but effective harmonised choruses. It continues to build up to a big, washy guitar solo to close the song.
Paired with the music video, it is quite trippy. The video is very simple, the three members floating in the dark, so if you were on something, it would be quite the experience! With their EP coming out soon, this is definitely a band to keep your eyes on.
